BREAKING NEWS: The Radio Galaxy will be playing at Pearly Baker's in Easton, PA this Friday (March 28th). They'll be sharing the night with their good friend Alex Radus, and there may even be some special surprise guests. Come one out for some good times and great tunes. New Shows, New Tunes, New Ideas... 1/28/08 - Hey all, sorry for the lack of info for the last little while but there has been some ineresting stuff going on with the band lately. We've been holed up writing a bunch of new music and fine tuning our overall sound a little bit and we're just about ready to bring it out to the public. Speaking of, we have a nice little run of shows set up for the end of February where we will be showcasing a lot of our newer stuff as well as some surprises that I can't actually talk about yet. Patience grasshopper....patience. Until then, we're gonna keep working and get ourselves ready for a good, old-fashioned, straight up comeback. See you soon... Back In the Studio... 9/17/07 - That's right, even though we recently put out our debut EP "Don't Forget to Listen", we've decided to do it all over again. Just about a week ago we started recording tracks for our second CD. We've set up a nice little studio space in our rehearsal house and cozied ourselves in to get this project rolling. So far we have a nice list of songs, some that we haven't even played out live, and we're hoping to plug through it at a good pace. I think we can even have this whole thing done by the new year. On another note, we have a couple of pretty cool shows coming up this week. The first one is a special Honkey Tonk night at the Knitting Factory in New York city. We'll be playing in the Old Office and we go on around 10pm. It's sure to be some good old knee slappin' fun so come on down and enjoy the music and their wonderful PBR and a shot for $7 drink deal. I mean, just what the hell else is more honkey tonk than that? Then, on Saturday the 22nd, we'll be playing the High Bridge Community Day at Union Forge Park in High Bridge NJ. It's an outside show so come on down and enjoy the last of the warm days we may get this year. I think there are even fireworks to end the night...I mean, I would go just for that. TRG gets played on XM Radio!!!
Wow! The first track from Don't Forget to Listen, Echo, was recently played on the Ron and Fez show on XM Radio Channel 202 "The Virus". The guys were both at the private party we recently played and liked the band so much that they took cds and played played our song on the show. They even got a surprise call by the one and only Virginia Kamenitzer. We truly appreciate the publicity and are hoping that they'll play some more of our music in the days to come so check out the show! If you have a chance, show some support by either calling or emailing (thevirus@xmradio.com) the show and requesting The Radio Galaxy to be played on XM. If you dont know which one to pick might we suggest Frightened, Prophet, or Echo. Don't Forget to Listen! The
